Are the gowns you sell used? What does Off-the-Rack mean?No, our gowns are new from designers' previous seasons with tags on. We offer a selection of beautiful Off-the-Rack gowns most ranging at $1,000 or less with sizes 2-20. Off-the-Rack means we don't order, and gowns are sold as is. Please view our Off-the-Rack page for more info on those gowns.

What is your price range?Our shop's overall range is from $499 - $3,000. The majority of our wedding gowns fall between the $700 to $1500 price range.

How far in advance should I purchase a gown?If you are interested in ordering a gown, we recommend ordering 6 months in advance of your wedding date. This allows 4 months for the dress to arrive and 2 months for alterations. However, if you start gown shopping less than 6 months before your wedding, it is best to shop from our Off-the-Rack options.

How much do gown alteration/redesign cost?Our staff has over a century of combined couture alterations experience, and we use that expertise to achieve our ultimate goal - the proper fit of your gown. Our prices are based on time and complexity. Bridal alterations range from $500-$800 for Basic Alterations or $800-$1,500 for Major/Redesign Alterations. We recommend scheduling a complimentary consultation to get an estimate; however, the final cost is not determined until we complete the process.

How long do gown alterations/redesign take and when should I start the process?It is best to allow 12-16 weeks as it could require 3 or more fittings. Achieving the proper fit is truly a process and the number of fittings depends upon the scope of the work required. In addition, you should consider your schedule and availability for each fitting. If you travel for work, plane on moving, or travel for your Bachelorette weekend this will affect the fitting schedule.

Do you alter MOB & BM dresses?Yes, please bring dresses in no later than 2 to 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.

What if I plan to loose weight?It is best to being your weight loss upon ordering your gown which gives you about 3-4 month to achieve your weight goal. We recommend achieving your weight goal before alterations are started. Losing 10 lbs or more during the alterations process affects the timeline of completion- creating additional fitting, needing more time for completion, and additional cost.

I am considering wearing my Mom's or Grandma's gown or veil, what is the process & cost of redesign?A design consultation is the first step in assessing the condition and determining the design possibilities. Most fit and design changes average $800-$1,500 not including additional costs of fabrics, lace, or embellishments. Extensive design changes are $2,500 & up. Please allow 4-6 months. Heirloom Veils require adding a metal comb and in some cases design changes costing at $75 & up. Allow 4 weeks.

Do I need an appointment to "just look"?Yes, you will need to make an appointment. We are operated by appointment only. If you come in without an appointment, we may have to request you to come in at another time/date.

What forms of payment is accepted?We accept cash or debit, Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also accept payments through Zelle and Venmo.
